from a Vajrayana friend in Maryland …
Feb 12th, 2009 by admin
Hi,
I just discovered your wonderful blog today. I was struck by how original the idea is, not to mention how needed it is, as well. I passed it on to our sangha, many of whom are involved in health care to some degree. And, one of our nuns runs a prison project here in Maryland.
I’m a Vajrayana nun and also a chiropractor. I’m also a patient, experiencing “the other side” of health care. I got diagnosed 2-1/2 years ago with Wegener’s granulomatosis and have been unable to work since then. It’s been a real trip to the hell realm. But like I always say, you can’t buy this kind of practice!
I recently started a blog ( http://sweetnotalways.blogspot.com/) to reach out not only to fellow practitioners, but to the many people I’ve come to know who are also living with Wegener’s or other chronic illnesses. My goal is to weave Dharma into the blog gently. Anyway, that’s how I found you. Someone from your site clicked on mine today and I was intrigued by the name.
I look forward to reading more info on your site and contributing what I can. Thank you for bringing this project into the world.
Best,
Christie (Ani Sangye) Hatchion, D.C.
