How It Works

While it may seem complicated or intimidating at first, it really is quite simple. View the site as a storehouse for information concerning the intersection of Buddhism and Medicine and go to the right side of the page to see a list of categories that may be of particular relevance to you. Feel free to comment on anything that has already been posted. Alternatively, post your own article, link, thoughts, etc… under the appropriate category. Registering is free, of course. Your active participation keeps the website alive and growing, reflecting the dynamic possibilities inherent in such a project.

It is a great honor, Roshi Joan, that you have visited our site. Your work inspires projects like this. I look forward to forging deeper relationships with organizations such as yours and resources such as this. Please always feel free to offer this site as a resource to those in the healthcare field who are involved with the Upaya Institute. All the best,
-Mark McCabe MD (administrator dd.org)
Thank you for creating this website.
Thank you. Finally a place/site integrating my two essential
practices….Medicine and Buddhism. This hasn’t happened
since I was the doctor at a Tibetan Monastery & Tibetan
Refugee Resettlement area.
For me, this is Integrative Medicine.
Thank you,
Rona Lieberman,MD
